A Wider Mirage in 2024
Japan Technology's flagship Mirage series has been widened. The Mirage's comfortable weighted feel is maintained, but the mass has been slightly increased across the width, which also emphasizes ease of movement.

Released in 2019, the MIRAGE '19 featured a size that fits easily in the hand and a gentle, rounded shape. It was a standard monometal model proposed by JT for children, women, and those who prefer yo-yos in the mid-size range that are small enough to fit in their hands.
MIRAGE '20, released in 2020, emphasized balance. It was an all-purpose model in the full size range. Designed with an eye toward use in the contest scene, the MIRAGE '20 was designed with an eye on rotational power, maneuverability, and stability.
The shape is also designed to easily fit the hand sizes of various players.
The specifications and bearing gap have been set so that it is easy to toss out and reel in with counterweights.
Each ESD ver. model is made of 6061 aluminum, which has been changed to super duralumin (7075 aluminum) to machine to more specific preferences.
The new MIRAGE '24 model is a more detailed version that incorporates recent trends, requests from players, and JT's ideals.
The body width has been increased to the 48mm range, without losing the shape of the MIRAGE '20. This model has the power to follow a wide range of users from beginners to competitive metal modelers.
The bearing gap has also been widened slightly from MIRAGE '20.
The height of the separator has also been adjusted.
