44CLASH started as the world's first yo-yo event held at a club. Since starting in a small club in Yokohama in 2008, the number of participants and spectators has increased every year, and it has become an event that attracts attention from overseas. In 2012 and 2014, it was held at Bayside Yokohama, known as one of the largest venues in Japan. In addition to the freestyle contest where top players from all over the world gather and compete as an international competition, there are also battle-style tournaments and DJ time due to the club location, which makes it a different way to enjoy the event from other competitions. Many items have been released in collaboration with various brands, and 44CLASH limited edition yo-yos, apparel, and goods are also popular every time. In 2018, the milestone of the 10th anniversary, a completely original model called "44CLASH" was released, named after 44CLASH.
