Yomega

Yomega, one of the oldest yo-yo manufacturers, was founded in 1983. The yo-yo "Brain," which can be called Yomega's greatest achievement, is equipped with an auto-return system that automatically returns the yo-yo to the hand when the spin weakens, and it became a global best-selling product, called a "yo-yo with a brain." Based on the success of this groundbreaking yo-yo, the company has grown and produced many yo-yos. They have produced popular models such as the Fireball and Raider, which are still in production today and have become standard. In the late 1990s, they partnered with Hawaii's HPK Marketing and promoted the company around the world through performances by THP (Team High Performance). In Japan in particular, it was released as Bandai's Hyper Yo-Yo in 1997, which caused a huge boom. It was later released in other Asian countries and Europe, and is now based in Massachusetts, USA, and has spread to more than 35 countries around the world. Even after the Hyper Yo-Yo boom in 1997, Yomega was included in the Hyper Yo-Yo series in Japan in 2004 and 2010, so it is a manufacturer that is particularly well-known in Japan.
