Zero Gravity Return Tops - Basilisk
Modeled after the real-life "Basilisk," this full-metal yo-yo focuses on agility.
Yo-yos can be developed and modeled after all kinds of things, but this yo-yo has unusual roots, having been inspired by the real-life lizard of the same name in the iguana family.
The basilisk is a lizard that can sometimes run on water against the current with its skin spread wide open, and this model was created with an emphasis on "agility" as its inspiration. The inverse round and narrow rim, combined with the wide body gives the impression of being slender to the touch, but this is where its agility and sharp feeling is born.
Although the shape has such a delicate impression, the rim is thick, and its weight is converted into a longer sleep, showing a tenacity that seems almost contrary to the agile concept. In fact, this work is a revival of a model that was released once in 2021, and shows the "seriousness" of ZGRT.
