Sturm Panzer -Â WY-009 NM9 (Outlet)
It's like the Night Moves is all grown up! This new masterpiece bears a midship weight, and is ready for primetime in "Florida."
After Ryosuke Shiozome's Laceration attack, the Schneider has sustained massive damage!
In the Marshall Industries lab in Tokyo, Schneider MK-II is being rolled out after reverse engineering Shiozome's yo-yo. Entering Blade Attack mode and testing the Laser Blade on Yukiko's yo-yo, when they sliced it they found... inspiration?
Shortly after, in a small factory in Florida, the long-silent production line rumbles back to life. The first chassis to roll off the line using their new Solid Bio Spinner System is the NM9. Designed with the data collected by the Eclipse Ogre experiments, the NM9 is slated for mass production as the new standard ordnance.
Kyoshiro and Reita have discovered the secrets of the Kairyukai, the religious organization that was set in motion by Kasumi and Gouki's plans, to take over parliament with people in the industry!
"You should thank us, we aim to take control of the world's military affairs, so we can resolve conflicts without needing to go to war!"
But as they confront each other, a new assassin appears and begins to attack! |
The NM9 arrives right at the heart of the story, and rather than long sleep or speed, in an unprecedented concept it is designed for "Florida."
Out of respect for YoYoJam, who had an everlasting impact on the yo-yo contest scene, Sturm Panzer pays homage with their design of the NM9, which incorporates reimagined design elements of the high-end Night Moves series, which pioneered bimetal designs before the name existed. Even the name is a tribute to the Night Moves, with 9 representing the 9th edition story book that comes with it.
The body contains a midship weight, which became a trademark of YYJ's designs in their final years. Although Sturm Panzer has continued making their bimetal yo-yos with size D bearings, they switched to the Jam Large (size C) bearings for this model, out of respect for the original. They hope to give a taste of "Florida" to the nostalgic and those who weren't able to be there in years past. We recommend using thinner string with this yo-yo, such as the 100% poly
YoYoJam Ultra Jam String or the
String type 6.
At the end of the book is a special article about the Night Moves series, from the very first model to the famous phantom Night Moves 8.
From the Maker:Compared to regular products, there may be rough machining marks or a slight rotational shake. (In some cases, there may be none at all.) Also, the bearing is a curved surface machined bearing for outlet products.
