A sublime design with supreme control, the Trion Crash is a tri-material model.

The Trion Crash has a complex tri-material design, with a 6061 aluminum body, a polycarbonate outer rim, and a stainless steel inner rim. The blend of these three materials creates a yo-yo unlike any other!

The body shape was based on the Atomic Crash, with a wide H-profile. The transluscent polycarbonate rim creates an eye-catching visual effect that makes the outer edges appear even lighter than they are. The Trion Crash spins with a power that is surprising from its looks alone, thanks to the inner rim weight that beautifully rounds out the weight distribution. The Trion Crash has a nice soft catch to it: a hardened heart in a soft sleeve. The unique playfeel and impressive balance makes you fall more in love with the design the more you play with it.

Its biggest draw is its sense of control. It has more than enough weight to display great power, but it has a sense of lightness that reflects its plastic roots. This combination of vastly different materials seamlessly come together to create an amazing unified experience that is new and fresh. The Trion Crash is a perfect balance of all the sum of its parts, the source of its biggest appeal.

C3yoyodesign’s brand new model release! Tri-material yoyo combined with PC, stainless steel and 6061AL – "Trion Crash".

A new member of the Crash series, "Trion Crash" is a Tri-material yoyo with PC rim, stainless steel inner ring on a 6061-aluminium body. We spent a year of prototyping, and finally we made a new yoyo model for competition.

The profile design is based on the "Atomic Crash". We kept the diameter the same and enhanced the width from 43.9mm to 45.2mm which helps players increase the accuracy of string hits.

The use of the PC rim not just for decoration, it also helps boost performance. We took advantage of the low density of PC materials to make the outer rim. By doing so, this emphasises the power felt by the stainless steel inner rim. In doing so, we are able to maintain the same profile of the yoyo, but able to further take advantage of the stainless steel rim weight to provide a much more powerful spin and faster acceleration than a yoyo made from solely 6061 aluminium and stainless steel.

Solid color aluminium body installed with a transparent PC outer rim and shinning stainless steel ring will give you an impressive visual feeling alongside the equally impressive performance. Moreover, the Trion Crash logo includes the element of both musical and ancient symbols. The exquisite combination of Tri-materials provide for a fresh experience that cannot be found on any other yoyo.
