Full metal yo-yo with eye-catching giant spikes on the side face

The huge spikes on the side face of this full metal yo-yo are eye-catching.
The name "Thorn" refers to the spikes on plants, but on this yo-yo, it refers to the center of the side face.

In recent years, it is not unusual for string trick yo-yos to have an axle of 10 mm or less. This is unusual, however, and is the result of the yo-yo's emphasis on performance aspects such as rotational force.

The industry-recommended axle length for yo-yos of this size is 12 to 16 mm, and this yo-yo shows that it is not unnatural to have this kind of side face in order to secure that length.

Thorn follows the original "industrially" recommended standard, but incorporates modern yo-yo know-how. The rim is thicker so that the weight is not concentrated only in the center, but also on the periphery. This gives the yo-yo a unique shape and a responsive feel due to its rotational force, and its slim width of approximately 42.5mm gives it a powerful feeling that is a gap between what you expect and what you feel. Of course, since the axle is more than long enough, it is also easy to assemble and maneuver.

*The package has some damage such as large tears or crushing, but if there is no problem with the product, it is a specification.

Thorn- Retro nostalgic

There was once a time where spikes were popular in yoyos. Then they were gone in pursuit of less center weight . One Drop brought it back because reasons.

Plays well, is comfortable, does not feel like competition yoyos with thick rims and short axles. That classic One Drop solidness is still there. If I were to pick a most similar yoyo to it it'd be Code 1 with spike side effects, but those are long gone.
