Sturm Panzer - SY-012 Eclipse Ogre Arousal
Developed from the original concept of the Phenom, The SY-012 is a powered-up bimetal throw with a beautiful midship weight.
Episode#12. Eclipse Ogre L&R were damaged by Gairyusen......
However, the Silver Organoid came from ancient Florida ruins.
It evolves Eclipse Ogre into the legend Yo-Yo of Florida, USA!!
In the late days of YoYoJam, the Phenom burst on the scene with a midship weight. Now, Sturm Panzer has fine-tuned the concept to perfection.
In the storybook, the main model of the story fuses together with the legendary YoYoJam Phenom to create an ultimate weapon. In reality, the Phenom came out around 2010, before even the genre of bimetal yo-yos had a name. Even among YoYoJam's high end models, the Phenom became an incredibly popular and loved yo-yo. Now, Japanese maker Sturm Panzer has picked up the torch and carried on to improve on the design while still maintaining the lovable bits.
The specs are actually based on the Phenom T, a derivation the focused on moving as much weight as possible outwards from the axle. The midship weight is actually closer to the outer edges, giving a unique light feeling but with plenty of control and stability. Overall the yo-yo is larger, fitting nicely into the hand but also gaining an improved deep sleep for deeply satisfying combo tricks.
Another nod to the Phenom pedigree, this model comes with a polished mirror cap. The caps were made by team member (and former TeamYoYoJam member, ZhaoYuan Liu, AKA "PHENOM yarou."
Included is a copy of Sturm Panzer's #12 manga, and at the end is a copy of "All About YoYoJam 1998-2001," which contains tons of information about YYJ's lineup before they had even started using size C bearings. Even for experienced players, there's something to learn by looking back.
Sturm Panzer has created the ultimate call-back by wrapping their series up with this model. We are truly impressed and feeling very nostalgic!

Maker Comment
This yo-yo uses a special bearing known as the Eclipse Ogre Arousal bearing. There are no plans to sell this bearing individually. If you are looking to improve performance any further, we would recommend switching it out for a Dif-e-Yo Konkave bearing.
The axle is a stainless steel M4x8mm axle. All adjustments and modifications you make to your yo-yo are your own responsibility.
Vibration check was done before installing side caps.
The performance which is supposed originally assumes installing side caps.
Small scratches, stains, uneven coloring, processing marks, etc., as well as dust and scratches on the mirror cap surface may occur during the manufacturing, assembly and shipping processes, but these are product specifications.
