The SY-002 is the yo-yo used by Sturm Panzer protagonist, Kyoshiro Aoi.

"The 21st century's new form of combat: Yo-Yo Fist. Since the Stealth Ogre incident in 2013, team Sturm Panzer was disqualified from the league, and won't be present at the competition in 2014. But the dissolved team has turned their sights on a comeback in 2015.

Sixteen year old prodigy Kyoshiro Aoi was scouted by defense contractor Marshall Industry, and given their new prototype, the Leo Sniper. As his teammates, his schoolmate Reita Sugo and Kasumi's old schoolmate Gouki Hiura were chosen.

Before his first match, Kyoshiro is already receiving a warm reception by the masses, with the enthusiastic Reita bringing up the rear. In the distance, Kasumi and Gouki sneer at their young teammates. What new developments will the 2015 season bring? What are these players' true potential? This is the OEM version of YoYo Laboratory's "Style" model. Designed to provide maximum sleep times, this yo-yo provides top-class stability in its size and weight class.

The source of this performance boost is the brass weight ring, along with the the small D-size bearing and 3-step inverse round profile, machined from a block of aircraft aluminum (7075 aluminum). The brass ring itself comprises almost half of the body weight of the yo-yo itself, and the effect on its performance is very noticeable. Even a minute after it's thrown the Leo Sniper outshines its predecessor, the Stealth Ogre. In the crowded field of competition-level full size yo-yos, the Leo Sniper is particularly high-end, and stands out in the crowd. To further drive this point home, the Leo Sniper comes loaded with IrPads for its response.

*Regarding wobbles: This yo-yo was machined to exceptionally high standards, with competition performance in mind. The inverse round profile tends to wobble slightly, which is increased by the use of a D-size bearing and the 32 gram brass weight ring. The source of the Leo Sniper's power is also the cause of some minute speed wobbles. These wobbles are very small and depending on the player, might not be noticeable at all, but we felt it's important to inform you beforehand that this is a result of the Leo Sniper's design, and is not the sign of a defective unit.

They are designed to be best spinning and performing yo-yos for the competition scene. They are not designed to spin smoothly or elegantly. They might vibrate after unscrewing/screwing once or twice.

*Sturm Panzer would like to point out that the included bearing is a non-brand model, and for better results you may want to switch it out for a different bearing like Dif-e-Yo's Konkave bearing.

*This version is a pre-release model. The production model may be have slightly altered specs, and its means of production may also change.

*Polish the brass ring at regular intervals to keep its golden shine! But don't use the included rag on any other part of the yo-yo, it will wear off the coating.

*When re-assembling the yo-yo, center the axle on the threading and close it carefully. Do not over-tighten, you may pierce the side.
