All yo-yos have passed the manufacturer's quality inspection. Quality standards vary by manufacturer. Basically, products that can be used normally are within product specifications.

Examples of possible initial defects

if the following symptoms occur immediately after opening, they may be initial defects:
(Bind models only) The bearing barely rotates even when flicked with a finger.
Even after dampening vibrations with a finger during play, the yo-yo vibrates so much that its shape appears distorted.
Parts that should be installed (bearings, pads) are not installed.

SUS YOYO MECHANICS - SUS001G2 Generator

A bimetal model redeveloped based on the first work "SUS-001".

This is a bimetal model redeveloped based on the first SUS YOYO MECHANICS SUS-001. Compared to the original, this new yo-yo clearly emphasizes power. It features the hardness and weight of a bimetal yo-yo with stainless steel rims that perfectly fit the words "strong," "robust," and "sturdy.""

Despite this sense of power, the actual weight is under 65g, which makes it especially easy to handle, and it has a small but full size diameter of 55mm and a width of 46mm. It is secretly an all-purpose yo-yo that can easily handle acrobatic tricks such as Horizontal and Influent styles, flashy speed play, and detailed tricks such as chopsticks that test your delicate control.

Comment from the Maker

The "next standard."

The SUS-001 was the first SUS brand yo-yo, and was the model for Rewind's grab bag (fukubukuro). At the time, it was a model that proposed a new standard with a wide, inverse, midship rim that was clearly not the current trend. Nowadays, these elements are appearing as a matter of course, and since people are picking up these models, I think we have achieved what we set out to do: shifting the paradigm.

We were once again asked to remake the 001 for the 2022 Fukubukuro, and this time we attempted to propose a new, invisible part.

The basic shape follows SUS-001, but...

55mm in diameter, it has the same power as a full-size or oversize bimetal, and a moment of inertia carrying across the body that surpasses its rotational power. That's right, the rim has a hollow structure for the first time since the Pragma.

And again, we named SUS-001 GENERATOR. The name GENERATOR is a reference to the new flow of energy that we are creating.

And what kind of feeling will it create?

We hope this yo-yo will be a good start of the new year for those who pick it up.

名は体を現しているヨーヨーです。

姿勢保持の力がかなりあるようで、多少のことでは傾かずに真っ直ぐ回転してくれるのが好印象です。パワーは十分ですし、硬く重たいフィーリングでバイメタルらしさが満点です。トリックの切り返しはシャキシャキと動き、強い回転を与えた際はヨーヨー自体が重たくなったようにも感じるパワー感があります。中空構造の厚いリムとA7003のボディは物理的にもかなり硬いので、身体にぶつけないように注意しながら楽しくこのヨーヨーのパワーを楽しんでもらいたいです。

中空リム独特の回転音がたまらない！ブラスト加工が凄いのか所持してるヨーヨーの中で1番サラサラで触り心地バツグン！振った感じも初心者なりの表現になってしまいますが、ジャーブルやキャンディレインなどの振り回すようなトリック中でも動きすぎないというか個人的には素直に動いてくれるように感じるとこが好きです(*´ω`*) ジェネレーターを振るようになってから出来るようになったトリックも数多く、カタログに記載されてるような強固、堅牢、頑強といったワードのバイメタルらしい硬さと重量感は初心者ってのもあってまだ感じとれないですが、隠れた万能型ヨーヨーってのは初心者でも納得できました！これからもジェネレーターをガンガン振って自分自身発電(成長)できたらなと思ってます！

小ぶりでハイパワーの決定版

福袋から晴れて製品版となっての販売。軽くレビューしていきます。少し小ぶりでセミワイドな、ここ最近増えてきたタイプの数値で若干のインバース気味なシェイプのおかげで持ち心地は良好。サイドフェイスにはSUSのロゴとスペック・材質・ロットが書かれているという一風変わった面白い仕様。ステンレスリムは見かけは大分厚いですが、中空構造のおかげで重量自体は平均的。それかバイメタルのパワーを考慮すると僅かに重めくらい？スローすると、その大きさとは反してかなり癖があります。投げ出しの抜け具合はかなり重く、重量級・ハイパワーバイメタルにも匹敵するくらい。そのせいで初めてバイメタルを振る人なら後ろに流れてしまって困惑するかも。しかしその後はその重さが嘘のような動かしやすさ。ピックアップのコラムでも書かれているように、中空構造の影響か独特の浮遊感があります。確かにリムに重さが乗っているのにその重さがリム全体に分散しているような、独特の感覚。そしてスリープの伸び。このサイズ帯で、商品説明通りフルサイズ～オーバーサイズ並の伸びを見せます。振る回数が増える程、そのサイズ感とパワーの反比例さに驚く筈。それでいて操作性も悪くなく、先ほどの浮遊感もあって重いとは大して思いません。キャッチする際は回転が強い程、ステンレスリムのガッチリ感・重量感が強調され、とても小ぶりのヨーヨーとは思えない存在感があります。性能とは関係ないですが、材質がA７００３を使っているからか、ストリングヒット時は独特の「コーン」という音がするのが何気に面白いですね。商品説明の「強固・堅牢・頑強」がまさしくピッタリの機種。かなり実践向きであろう性能で、値段もバイメタルでは少し安めなのもポイント。投げ出しの癖さえ慣れてしまえば非常に強力な味方になってくれるはず。数値以上のポテンシャルを、是非とも体験してみてください。

小柄だけど凄まじいパワーを秘めたヨーヨー

福袋で手に入れたのですが、製品版と変わりないとのことでしたのでレビューさせて頂きます。まず見た目と手触りなのですが。フルサイズより一回り小さいような大きさで小回りが利きやすいと思います。自分は出来ないですが指の間を通すようなチョップスティックトリックに挑戦しやすいだろうなと思います。小柄なので持ち運びしやすいのも素敵です。そしてブラスト加工が凄くかかっていて通常のブラストより更にサラサラな手触りです。この手触りが気持ちよく、何気なしに触るのがクセになります。リムはブラストがかかっていないはずなのに何となくサラサラしているような気になります。製品版のシャイニーもかっこいいですが、ぜひこのブラストを体感してほしいです。使い心地は非常にパワフルで小さめなのにバイメタルのパワーを凄く感じます。コンボを続けても「まだまだいけますよ！」と言わんばかりの回転力が続き、終盤急いでバインドしないとということがありません。最後まで安心して続けられる頼もしい機体です。ストリングに乗せる時もバイメタルのズシッと来る感触がありますが、ブラスト加工のお陰で柔らかいフィーリングもあり緩和されている感じがします。僕はリワインドジャパンパッドに変えましたが、バインドしたときにしっかりと戻ってくる感触がすごく好きです。同じ福袋で人気のハイドロジェンクラッシュもありましたが、個人的にはジェネレーターの方がフィーリングが好みでしばらく手放せませんでした。意外とフィンガースピンの適正が高く、スピホリXXで出来るようになってからスポットのないヨーヨーで一通り試したのですが、ジェネレーターが最もやりやすかったです。サラサラブラスト加工のお陰で長時間回ってくれるので、落ち着いてプレイ出来ますし、スピンしてるのを「おぉ～…」と眺める時間も取れるので素晴らしいです。僕は練習中で上手くできませんが、ホリゾンタルなどもこのパワーがあれば余裕で応えてくれるヨーヨーだと思います。とにかく回転力が頼もしく、自分から自家発電して回っていってるような力強さを感じます。何をするにしても「大丈夫ですよー任せてください」と手助けしてくれるようなヨーヨーです。
