ll yo-yos have passed the manufacturer's inspection. Different manufacturers have different standards for product quality. Basically, products that can be used normally are within the product specifications.

Examples of possible initial defects : If you notice any of the following symptoms immediately after opening the product, it may be due to an initial defect.

(Bind model only) The bearing barely turns even when flicked with a finger.
Even after calming the vibrations with a rotating middle finger, the yo-yo still vibrates so much that it appears to change shape.
Parts that should have been installed (bearings/pads) are not installed

Examples of items that are not considered initial defects

Damage to the package
Color image difference
Bearing noises after playing a few times
A yo-yo that was delivered in a properly assembled state, but after being disassembled, could no longer be assembled
Scratches and paint chips inside the bearing area
The color unevenness of the yo-yo is not noticeable from a distance.
Paint chipping that is not visible from a distance
Scratches on the yo-yo that are not visible from a distance and are barely noticeable when touched with your fingers

Sturm Panzer - SS-003 Star Chaser A7075

The Star Chaser now features an A7075 body.

The Sturm Panzer sub-brand, 【STURM PANZER SS】, is launching. "SS" stands for "Side Story." Unlike the main STORYBOOK series, this brand embodies PHENOM Guy’s passion and originality for yo-yos, and is meant to be shared with the yo-yo community.

The "Star-Chaser," released in 2021, has transitioned its body material from A6061 to A7075, introducing a newly designed yo-yo.

First, let’s introduce the bonus one-sided body included only in the first batch.
Normal color variations are 'Red/Silver' and 'Rose Gold/Black,' but with the special bonus body 'Dark Green' and 'Grey,' you can increase the color variations to six patterns. Furthermore, if you purchase both, you can create up to 15 color patterns.

Additionally, a transparent PVC cap from YoYoJam is included as standard, allowing for play with custom backdrops. The transparent PVC cap comes with a protective film, which when removed, reveals a clean transparency.

While there are many plastic yo-yos that allow for body and cap swapping, it’s a rare attempt for a monometal.

The special bonus body is available until stock runs out.

The greatest feature of the Star-Chaser A7075 in play is its lightweight yet rigid body and the straight shape that facilitates speed. According to the designer, it's not just about ease of speed for contestants in competitions, but also the ease of speed for EDC (EveryDay Carry, a yo-yo for casual use and playing while out and about). Since the body is lightweight straight shape and the cap adds weight, the feeling is similar to the YoYoJam version of the Meteor.

The body and cap swapping concept is also designed with EDC in mind, so go out with your favorite color. Beyond the standard PVC cap, there are standard mirror caps and new lateral caps for finger spins (or called "Hop Caps" in the SS series).

The previous A6061 model featured caps of different diameters and weights for free weight adjustment. In the A7075 version, the focus is on play feel, and only caps approximately 50mm in diameter are included, which corresponds to the cap size of the YoYoJam version Phenom.

Maintaining its straight H-profile shape, it is designed with easier speed generation in mind. By removing the initial cap, you can enjoy the fun of handling an ultra-light model weighing about 59g.

Manufacturer's Comment

Rotation wobble checks are performed with the cap detached. Swapping the included one-sided body may cause rotation wobble. The presence and extent of wobble are up to the SS series standards.
Disassembly and part swapping are at your own risk.
The Lateral Cap (Hop Cap) is 3D printed, and there may be distortions, or it may be tight/loose when fitted, which are considered product specifications.
The package may have damage, peeling of prints, and the yo-yo or parts may have small scratches, dirt, color inconsistencies, and machining marks, but these are also product specifications.
