ll yo-yos have passed the manufacturer's inspection. Different manufacturers have different standards for product quality. Basically, products that can be used normally are within the product specifications.
Examples of possible initial defects : If you notice any of the following symptoms immediately after opening the product, it may be due to an initial defect.
(Bind model only) The bearing barely turns even when flicked with a finger.
Even after calming the vibrations with a rotating middle finger, the yo-yo still vibrates so much that it appears to change shape.
Parts that should have been installed (bearings/pads) are not installed
Examples of items that are not considered initial defects

This unusual high-end yo-yo has some astonishing features and an outrageous square shape!
The elusive square-bodied yo-yo appears once again in the form of this Matrixx Cube!
While it's spinning it may look round, but this yo-yo is anything but normal. It can perform basic tricks, but this model is more suited for its wow-factor on a collection shelf or for casual performance. Among other square yo-yos, you could say that the Matrixx Cube is a high-performance model. Setting aside its square body, it features a round response edge for a surprising level of control, and has a playfeel that approaches a normal round yo-yo. An added innovation is the dual compatibility of both size C and size C- bearings, meaning you can enjoy both simple binding string tricks and looping tricks with a simple bearing-change.
Another unique feature is the magnetic switch LED system. Touching the included magnet to the side face will turn the mirror face into a trippy kaleidoscope effect that creates a mesmerizing atmosphere around it.
The unusual body shape is well-suited for display. Of course it can sit flat on one of the long edges, but each corner also features flat faces that the yo-yo can be balanced on, giving it a precious, dynamic appearance even as it sits diagonally on a point.
Of course, if you're on the hunt for a high performance competition yo-yo, this isn't it. There's a cost to the ingenuity of this design, and it's not capable of all the trick styles. But if you are looking to explore the capability of extreme yo-yo design, unique features, a beautiful collectible, or a playful new challenge to explore, we recommend you give the Matrixx Cube a try.
Comment from the Maker
This yo-yo is part of the Sturm Panzer sub-brand, Sturm Panzer SS, brought to you by the former Team YoYoJam member and "PHENOM" himself, ZhaoYuan Liu.
Stepping outside the "normal" main storyline of the Sturm Panzer series, PHENOM seeks to infuse his models with his own passions and personal flair. The "SS" stands for "side story." Another distinction of this brand is the collaboration and extensive testing with players active in the yo-yo community.
This Matrixx-Cube is the most obsessively formulated and designed model of the series to date. If its square shape isn't enough to make it stand out, it also features a unique one-way mirror cap hiding a light-up functionality that is truly impressive. When you activate the light-up function, the mirror is replaced by a kaleidoscope effect that will have you wondering just how many layers there are, and just how deep the rabbit hole goes.
The squared-off body is finely tuned so it can be balanced on of of the corner faces, making it its own display stand, or letting you stack them like fancy building blocks.
The intricate body design was achieved with 3D-printed commercial-grade ABS plastic, but the finish quality is smooth and soft to touch, feeling more like injection-molded.
Using the standard thin size C- bearing, you can perform basic tricks and simple looping tricks. If you prefer, you can switch to a standard size C bearing for bind play. The Matrixx-Cube uses slim size response pads (and is not compatible with the Sturm Panzer CP-01 pads).
While most light-up models to date are activated by the centrifugal force of the spinning yo-yo, and automatically turn on when you throw it, the Matrixx-Cube has a special magnetic switch hidden in the body. Just touch the included magnet to the side of the yo-yo to turn the lighting system on and off. See the clip video for a demonstration of this function.
*It's possible to remove the mirror caps with a strong suction cup. It's also possible to dislodge the side caps if the yo-yo strikes hard against a solid surface, so please play carefully.
Package includes: Matrixx Cube yo-yo (with one mirror cap and axle parts installed), light circuit x2, button batteries x2, mirror caps x3, printed instructions x2
