C3yoyodesign released this metal-rimmed yo-yo for April Fool's Day. The base yoyo is the Speedaholic FX, as the name suggests, but this yoyo has a non-removable flat cap, completely losing the finger spin aptitude that was one of the features of the FX

The cap has a text on it that reads, "This yo-yo can't do fingerspin, but you can do the DNA if you can," which means that DNA can be performed by some other means, for example, by grinding with the palm of the hand? It's a novel challenge!

Other than the cap, the main difference between the XF and the FX is the three-layered body: the FX had a two-layered plastic body and metal rim, but the XF has a three-layered structure with an additional metal hub in the center. The added rigidity and slightly heavier center reduces the weight difference between the cap and the periphery, creating a sense of unity from deep within, like a full plastic yo-yo.
In short, this yo-yo is a heavyweight metal-rimmed yo-yo characterized by its responsiveness and sense of unity.

This is a rare model for C3, with a hollow cap structure, and it is also a feature that cannot be overlooked: the C3 offers a classic feel reminiscent of the early days of bindings in the 2000s, when side cap-equipped yo-yos were at their peak.

Despite the funny premise, Speedaholic XF is a perfect combination of modern standard performance and the feel of an old-fashioned yo-yo.
