Solaris is a new addition to SPYY's Pro series, joining the ranks of the Proto and Supra as a competition model. The body shape is somewhere between a step-straight and H-profile shape. It has a low edge but a round shape for a softer feel. A different approach is taken from the Pro and Supra, but it holds its own against its older brethren.
In an unusual choice for the SPYY lineup, the side hub lets you see through to the end of the axle itself, a glint of uncolored metal in the otherwise gorgeously anodized body. This also means a lighter center mass for higher spin. SPYY's signature coloring techniques are well used here with a gorgeous splash treatment, making this yo-yo stand out anywhere you keep it. The logo also has a pleasant impression.
