The Shogun also sports a cobalt-chromium inner rim, making it a world's first as a trimetal design using this rare alloy. Cobalt Chromium is a heavier metal than stainless steel, and its density makes it a stronger and more durable alloy, and extends the effectiveness of the weight rims beyond your standard bimetal or trimetal designs.

The impact of this design is most strongly felt the moment of that first throw. The base shape is designed after the Elemental Cold Fire, with a slightly less than full sized feeling in the hand. The 42mm width gives it a slim, sleek look, and of course the use of materials means you'll experience a totally unexpected level of stability from the numbers alone.
