YJ YoYo - Segamonte

Based on Vegamonte, this bimetal model features a massive oversized body and outer rim.

This bimetal model with its stainless steel outer rim was created based on the freestyle of Yasutaka Maeda, a Japanese member of YJYOYO, and the input of Woo Chang Park, another member of the team.

Based on Vegamonte, it retains the huge 59mm diameter shape that brings it beyond full size. The width is slightly wider than before, and the playfeel has changed so much that it seems like a completely different throw.

It is approximately 1.5 g lighter, extremely heavy at the outermost circumference, and has a thicker stainless steel rim pushing weight away from the axle. This gives it a light and sharp feel on string mounts, and a proper bimetal inertia at first swing.

In addition, the larger diameter of the outer rim gives the impression of creating a sense of stability through rotational force, rather than weight alone. It's a model that proves the value of a good outer rim design.

About the name, the "Se" in Segamonte is a nod to the Korean word for "slim." A light, sharp name seems appropriate for this yo-yo!
