ll yo-yos have passed the manufacturer's inspection. Different manufacturers have different standards for product quality. Basically, products that can be used normally are within the product specifications.
Examples of possible initial defects : If you notice any of the following symptoms immediately after opening the product, it may be due to an initial defect.
(Bind model only) The bearing barely turns even when flicked with a finger.
Even after calming the vibrations with a rotating middle finger, the yo-yo still vibrates so much that it appears to change shape.
Parts that should have been installed (bearings/pads) are not installed
Examples of items that are not considered initial defects
Damage to the package
Color image difference
Bearing noises after playing a few times
A yo-yo that was delivered in a properly assembled state, but after being disassembled, could no longer be assembled
Scratches and paint chips inside the bearing area
The color unevenness of the yo-yo is not noticeable from a distance.
Paint chipping that is not visible from a distance
Scratches on the yo-yo that are not visible from a distance and are barely noticeable when touched with your fingers
The "flat" spot on the yo-yo keeps the finger spinning for a long time.
The Scintillator is the signature model of C3yoyodesign's Media Director, Simpson, who likes to do quirky string tricks and has created a yo-yo that is within reach of the iconic modern yo-yo trick, the Tornado Bind (DNA).
Of course, to achieve this, the new model sports a finger spin spot. However, it is not a finger spin spot with a rounded indentation like you see on the Speedaholic XX, which has become mainstream in recent years.
Rather, the Scintillator features a small "flat" spot that barely fits on the fingertip and is designed to keep spinning on your finger longer by reducing the area where the skin touches the body as much as possible, even for people with large fingers. This design compensates for differences in finger shape and thickness which affect the way your finger contacts the side face.
This design also makes the entire side of the yo-yo a receptacle for finger spin that directs towards the center, making it easy for even beginners to place a horizontal yo-yo on their fingers.
If you need a stable yo-yo with a good fit, you should choose a yo-yo with rounded indentations like the Speedaholic XX, but the Scintillator is recommended for easy initial placement and to eliminate the difficulty of holding the yo-yo in place due to the shape of your fingers.
As for the feel for normal string tricks, this yo-yo is designed to be hard and sharp, yet wide, making it an easy type of yo-yo to speed up. It is great for rail combos as well as hops and horizontal combos, and is ideal for adding speed and flair to your own style.
We recommend it for both 5A and 1A. The wide design makes it easy to mount and the sharp feel also makes it easy to turn.

We are excited to announce the official release of the Simpson Wong Wai Sheuk signature yoyo, Scintillator!
Simpson is a C3 media producer, holder of the long sleeper world yoyo record, and this is his first signature yoyo after 25 years in the yoyo community. The Scintillator combines several of his favorite C3 models with innovative design elements, resulting in a high-performance, budget-friendly, and competition-ready monometal yoyo that also incorporates trendy features such as Fingerspin DNA tricks.
At 49mm wide, the Scintillator is narrower than Simpson's previous favorites, the Master Galaxy and Galaxy Diver series, despite incorporating their wide design elements. The exaggerated H-shape of the Scintillator increases its maneuverability and accuracy, while its diameter of 56.21mm and lightweight center allow for longer spin times and precise control.
One of the Scintillator's standout features are its Fingerspin hubs, which are designed to allow for easy finger placement and adjustment of angles, making Fingerspin tricks more accessible and versatile. Additionally, the Scintillator's H-shape design lends itself well to a variety of string tricks, providing increased accuracy and stability.
Despite its many advanced features, the Scintillator also excels in everyday use and social media "DNA" tricks. Its floaty feel and solid control provide a balanced yoyo experience that's suitable for a wide range of players.
One last point that cannot be overlooked is the origin of the name. One of the biggest challenges for all new yoyo is the naming process. Simpson has made multiple wordplays in Scintillator.
First, Scintillator can be meaning as "é–ƒçˆé«”." Simpson Wong Wai Sheuk's original name is 黃å‰é‘ (Wong Wai Sheuk), and both English transliterations start with the letter 'S.' The character "é‘ " in Wong Wai Sheuk's name means bright and shining in Chinese, and é‘ and çˆ share the same meaning in Chinese, so Scintillator and é‘ (Sheuk) have a common meaning.
In addition, Simpson's Japanese name is "シンプソン," and Scintillator's Japanese name is "シンãƒãƒ¬ãƒ¼ã‚¿," both starting with the Katakana "シン." As Simpson's signature yoyo, this creative idea is truly fascinating!
The Scintillator is available in six colors, including silver, sakura pink, ice blue, black purple green, silver silver black, and green silver blue.
