Small but standard weight, somehow more powerful than expected, ultra-super duralumin + stainless steel bimetallic masterpiece.
This is the signature model of the 2015/2018 World Championship Women's Division winner, Hobbit. While many yo-yos have been released with special artwork and coloring in collaboration with her, this is the first yo-yo to be released as a Hobbit signature model in 7.5 years since the "Hobbit Gungnir".
The three main yo-yos that make up this release are the Hobbit Gungnir, the Hydrogen Crash, and the Speedaholic MAX. The small size of the Hobbit Gungnir, the H-profile body shape of the Hydrogen Crash, and the rounded rim shape of the Speedaholic MAX were incorporated into the design, resulting in a weight in the 64g range. And with the body material being super duralumin (A7075 aluminum), it is a very powerful yo-yo, much more so than expected from its appearance. To be honest, until we measured the specs, even our staff members mistakenly thought that this would be a heavyweight model.
Stainless steel-rimmed bimetals have become so popular that they now hold a top-class share of the industry thanks to their outstanding spinning power, but this yo-yo has a particularly large gap between size and power, making it a yo-yo with great impact.
Update November 2024. The axle length has been changed from 10 mm to 8 mm, and the weight distribution of the body and rim has been changed.
