Grant Johnson's signature model, special 2010 US Nationals edition. A simple switch of the bearing is all you need to adjust its response.

The Revolution, with its round shape and aluminum ring, is Grant Johnson's signature model, the first in YoYoJam's lineup to employ the Solid Spin Axle system. The bearing seat is built from metal, giving it a truly solid, fixed gap.

The inner ring of the bearing seat perfectly fits the bearings that come with the Revolution: a thin and large size bearing. You can easily switch the bearing out; the thin bearing is for more responsive play, and the large size bearing for bind-response. The thin bearing that the yo-yo that comes loaded with it gives a tug response, which is great for players practicing beginning to intermediate level tricks.

Slip the enclosed large size bearing into the Revolution and it turns into a non-responsive yo-yo, requiring a bind technique to engage the response system. It's also known as the YoYoJam Speed Bearing, an oil-less bearing which is hard to rust. Just by switching to this bearing, you will see a drastic increase in the yo-yo's long sleep, making long and complicated tricks go down easily. This setting is more appropriate for advanced players, or those looking to practice their bind techniques. Full metal yo-yos may be the common trend, but this metal-rimmed model shows that it can hang with the big boys. Especially recommended for old Hyper Yo-Yoers making the transition to new body shapes.

The side caps can be removed with a suction pad, and it'll be easier to remove with a pad roughly the same size as the cap.
