In the pursuit of Colin Beckford's ultimate bimetal design, the ReCognition is a superb monometal throw that delivers similar performance for a budget price.
While there are many monometal yo-yos that got a bimetal treatment, the ReCognition is a bimetal that got a monometal version of itself. Originally the Cognition, ReCognition has a body made of 7075 aluminum alloy. While the profile is almost unchanged, there's a distinct difference between the two yo-yos, and the monometal version is a full 2 grams lighter. Not to lose out to its older brother, ReCognition features some slight tweaks that retains the bimetal-like stability that Colin demands from his contest tray. As an added bonus, the side face has been simplified to make fingerspin tricks easier.
While it delivers similar performance to its older brother, the lightness and refinements make it an affordable killer model, with a great amount of control mixed with power. Let Unparalleled show you the pure potential of monometal string trickery.
Official Description
ReCognition, as its name suggests, is a reissue of the Bimetal Cognition, released one year ago. It is remade into a monometal 7075, with rounder rims, a flat hub, and a new weight distribution. The balance makes this yoyo feel lighter, while maintaining the same power that people desired.
Colin Beckford is the biggest leader in intuitive yoyoing, being the most involved with scales. The yoyo is both capable of high speed play, slow technical play, and horizontal play.
The yoyo looks very cool
The price is in line with the rest of the rest of UNPRLD 7075 metals, and cheaper than most other brands.
