Reykjavik Return Tops - Ragnarok
Iceland's first release, aimed for the contest stage!
The home of the 2017 World Yo-Yo Contest, Reykjavik is the capitol of Iceland and the home of Palli, the main local contest organizer. Taking his city's name for his company, Palli has finally released his first model, the aptly named Ragnarok.
An oversized wide 46mm, it has a decent handful at 65 grams... a perfect snapshot of the current competition specs. The playfeel is on the light side, and is a bit sharp, with a shape that cuts right through and revs up quickly. Despite its complex shape, it's an honest, straightforward throw.
In Norse mythology, Ragnarok is the epic series of events, including contests, battles, tragedies and victories. As a first release, Reykjavik strove to give the contest scene something to keep on their tray. It's a pleasure to throw.
Our first release is a 7075 monometal named Ragnarok after the biggest battle the Norse gods fought which concluded in the end of the world. ;The yoyo is heavily comeptition focused following recent trend of wider shapes making it easy to catch on the string, while being fast and manuverable with a good ammount of rim weight. This yoyo will make you ready for a big battle.
