Yoon Jong Ki, the owner of YJYOYO and himself a 2A champion in Korea, has spent many years perfecting this looping model.
The body is machined from plastic, made with the same manufacturing method as metal yo-yos, with high precision and strength. To prevent the cap from blowing off due to a collision, a nut is placed to hold the cap on from the outside. This yo-yo is much sturdier and more rigid than previous looping yo-yos.
What really sets this yo-yo apart from other looping models is the replaceable starburst response system. The wear and tear of the starburst, which is unavoidable in looping models, making the yo-yos themselves a kind of consumable good as eventually the response system will wear away. This is resolved by making the starburst interchangeable. This means that by simply changing the starburst, the yo-yo's responsiveness is immediately restored to factory conditions, as if it were a brand new yo-yo.
The gap can also be adjusted with the included replaceable spacers. These spacers are made of high-strength super-duralumin. Due to the special axle shape, a small gap is created between the bearing and the spacer. This allows the bearing to move slightly during play, making it resistant to shaking and allowing it to sleep for longer periods of time.
