Description
Oxygene - Ozone
Big and heavy, the Ozone's power is immediately apparent.
Oxygene has gained fame for its Oxy series, but the Ozone is conceptually a very different beast. Whereas the undersized and average-weighted Oxy series built up the Oxygene name, the full metal Ozone is 58mm in diameter, a huge step towards being oversized. The Ozone has the merits of both a large and heavy throw.
It has an inverse-round shape, but it gives a very straight impression, with a sharp body shape. But this isn't just ornamentation, the Ozone was developed for use at competitions.
For this reason, the Ozone's shape and specs both reflect heavy development. This is especially evident in the hub area's nut, which is machined out of titanium, making it extremely durable, reducing the chance of damaging or cross-threading the axle seat. With a yo-yo this well-built, you'll be throwing the Ozone for years to come. As an added bonus, the super-light titanium means a lighter axle area, improving the yo-yo's weight distribution.
The Ozone is the first Oxygene model not to have an adjustable gap width: it was made simply and straightforward as a competition-quality yo-yo, and has a genuine Konkave bearing to match (with a full licence from Dif-e-Yo).
