ll yo-yos have passed the manufacturer's inspection. Different manufacturers have different standards for product quality. Basically, products that can be used normally are within the product specifications.
Examples of possible initial defects : If you notice any of the following symptoms immediately after opening the product, it may be due to an initial defect.
(Bind model only) The bearing barely turns even when flicked with a finger.
Even after calming the vibrations with a rotating middle finger, the yo-yo still vibrates so much that it appears to change shape.
Parts that should have been installed (bearings/pads) are not installed
Examples of items that are not considered initial defects
Damage to the package
Color image difference
Bearing noises after playing a few times
A yo-yo that was delivered in a properly assembled state, but after being disassembled, could no longer be assembled
Scratches and paint chips inside the bearing area
The color unevenness of the yo-yo is not noticeable from a distance.
Paint chipping that is not visible from a distance
Scratches on the yo-yo that are not visible from a distance and are barely noticeable when touched with your fingers
Omnitron Noah is the new signature model for 2012 European 1A open division champion and Hong Kong champion, Peter Pong Si Yee.
Peter Pong Si Yee has been a member of C3's contest team since their early days, and has cranked out many popular promo videos over the years displaying his skill and precision. This new Omnitron seeks to match that dedication and precision with a unique challenge to the veteran yo-yo maker. Although the design is based on the original Omnitron (also Peter's previous signature model), they wanted to bump up the speed AND stability together, leading to a unique size balance.
If pressed, we'd say that it's closer in personality to the Galaxy Diver, a wide-bodied throw following modern string trick design trends, but also a good fit for Peter's particular style of speedy play and horizontal tricks with aggressive combos. The sense of lightness and easy control is a huge plus; a blessing from the interesting decision to use titanium for the weight ring, a denser metal than the usual stainless steel. This is especially beneficial for rail combos and repeater tricks, with quick and smooth action that never seems to flag or slow down.
Due to the diffiulty in machining with titanium for the rim, the actual cost of manufacturing a titanium-rimmed bimetal yo-yo is unchanged from making a full titanium model. Undeterred by these difficulties, C3 has strived to keep the cost to a minimum without compromising on the quality and performance you've come to expect from them.
Official Description
Inheriting the original Omnitron’s rounded design, with a newly incorporated H-Shape design to suit more modern play, comes a new yo-yo with an impeccable feel on the hands.
With the uncommon Titanium rim design taking the weight distribution to the extreme, each aspect of the yo-yo is designed to maximize the power, acceleration, and spin time of the yo-yo itself.
With an incredibly thin 6061 aluminium body to complement the Titanium rim, this further maximizes the weight distribution, leading to the high levels of control over the yo-yo, as well as allowing for the sudden changes in movement to be incorporated seamlessly into your tricks.
Due to the high precise machining of the Titanium rim, with costs nearing to (or exceeding) those of full Titanium yo-yos, alongside the thin walls of the 6061 aluminium body, this has led to one of C3yoyodesign’s most difficult and most ambitious projects to date. However, C3yoyodesign’s firm commitment to producing high-quality competitive yo-yos has also given us the determination to produce this yo-yo, despite the difficulties mentioned. This new style has also helped given C3yoyodesign a new direction in the production of future yo-yos.
