Leaving the shape alone, the SuperNova gets sized down for an undersized version. With the shape in tact, the Nova's weight feels relatively heavy for its size. The Nova is like a condensed version of its bigger brother.
This "undersized" yo-yo is really in the neighborhood of 50mm in diameter, which may make it small for an adult with large hands, but for children, it's surprisingly easy to handle and manouever. For chopsticks-style tricks where you send the yo-yo between your fingers, the Nova is agile and easy to control.
