YoYoFactory - Metal Arrow
The Metal Arrow follows in the footsteps of the famous Genesis.
It wouldn't be too much to say that the Genesis was one of the origins of YoYoFactory's good name, and this Metal Arrow revives its classic profile.
The width is unchanged from the original Arrow, with a diameter smaller than either the Arrow or the Genesis. The thick rims make up for its small size, and the Metal Arrow has plenty of spin for players of all styles. The playfeel is closer to that of the Genesis, but the evolution of design and manufacture have also brought modern goodness to the table. The harmonious marriage of old and new creates a great experience for players old and new.
Of course, it uses the same side caps as the original Arrow, designed to make fingerspins easy. Like the old and new, the advantages of the Arrow and the metal body are perfectly brought together in the Metal Arrow.

Mine came in the 2019 WYYC mystery box. There are debris in axle holes so I had to clean it otherwise the yoyo sounded wrong and vibed. After cleaning this yoyo only has a tiny vibe. Grinds great if you have thin fingers, fingerspins great if you have small fingers, overall pretty powerful for size not unlike the old MVPs, but less intimitating and way more comfortable to catch.
The real cons wound be the narrowness of the yoyo and the resulting small trapeze width, especially since this is a textbook H shape.
