Old School Throws - Medallion
A super rare prize to land in your pocket, this is the only creative bimetal design to utilize a tungsten ring.
At any rate, this yo-yo has chops but probably isn't meant as much for the contest stage. But it gives you the most amazing support as a casual pocket throw, making high-level play within arm's reach. If you have a pocket you have room for a Medallion.
Tungsten is harder than stainless, but still has a similar effect as a steel rim. It's particularly difficult to manufacture the rings, but it pays off. There's no denying that Old School Throws has come out of the gates swinging. The Medallion is a fine example of a knockout punch on the first swing.
At this size, you'll be amazed at how much ferocious spin you get out of the Medallion. Players of all shapes and sizes will find their expectations overcome by this tiny monster. Take it anywhere and blow minds at any moment.
There's a full size stainless steel bimetal variant, the Resto.
The Medallion is essentially a mini Resto, for the models share a similar cup and profile. This yoyo, however, features a dense copper tungsten alloy ring rather than stainless steel, allowing the mini yoyo to feel like a true full sized. This is the first model to utilize this type of ring in over a decade!
