The lightweight and wide metal yo-yo Magpie with a strong presence is now in its second generation.
The Magpie 2 is the second generation of the Magpie: an easy-to-handle, wide full metal yo-yo with long-lasting stability that has been a mainstay of the yoyofriends lineup for nearly four years. The material is the same A7068 alloy, but with fine-tuned details.
The most obvious difference is that the width has been widened by an additional 1mm to approximately 47.5mm. In addition, the flat portion in the center of the side face has been made smaller, and although it is almost the same weight as before, the weight has been shifted to the rim, preventing power loss due to the increased width, instead making the sleep extension more pronounced.
The gap has been adjusted and narrowed very slightly to achieve a high level of both smooth play and return.
While these changes are subtle enough to allow a smooth transition from the first-generation model, a definite increase in power has been achieved.
*The yellow/blue colorway only has the bird logo on one side. The other colors do not have a logo.
