Seven years after its first release, the Krown is king again with a long-awaited full titanium version! As always, the Krown is the signature model of REWIND's own Shinya Kido.
This coating is very hard to apply and there are many small spots on the surface. Also the number are very limited and inspected by C3 core staff members. The condition of the yo-yo will be as they are. We cannot take any return or exchange for any condition or cosmetic issue of this yo-yo. They all passed C3's inspection and release as A-grade. Thank you for your understanding.
The original Krown was first released in the spring of 2013 and became a huge hit, launching C3 onto the world stage and becoming their flagship model. Over the years, many different versions have come out delivering excellence in different flavors, like the bimetal Krown.st, the 2017 fingerspin edition, and models born out of collaborations with other makers. There have been super high end models, and cost-performance models, all seeking to put the power of the Krown into the hands of as many players as possible. Nowadays, so many players have at least one Krown in their yo-yo case, but C3 isn't done pursuing perfection. Finally heeding the requests of players around the world, their latest royal flush is a full titanium Krown known simply as the Krown Ti.
With a simple RAW finish, the Krown logo is emblazoned on the side face with a gorgeous and distinctly "titanium" rainbow brazing, which shines and refracts light beautifully as the light changes angles.
Coating is not perfect on product. No return for sale.
Comment from Shinya Kido
Having a titanium signature model has been a dream of mine for a long time. In the yo-yo world, where new models seem to be coming out every day, my focus has always been on performance. That balance of smoothness and responsiveness, the power and stability, and long sleeps are the obvious specs, but I also care about things like the size and shape, how it fits in your hand, and that feeling during play that travels through the string and tingles your nerves just right. It must be well suited for freestyles, and not just my own; it needs to be able to handle any trick or playstyle you throw at it. Is it easy to maintain and is it compatible with standard parts? And more than anything, is it well received by other players, and does it satisfy THEIR demands. Throughout the years I've spent with C3, we've never given up our pursuit of perfection in these areas. And while perfection may not exist, the path is paved with excellence, and that, I think, is what makes the Krown in all its variations such a popular throw.
Throughout the years, C3 has developed a wealth of valuable know-how by developing the Krown and their other excellent models, and have supported my passion for perfecting the design and execution of their yo-yos.
To say they know what they're doing is an understatement. Because to tell the truth, this Krown Ti required very little input to get right. Normally when developing a signature model, there's a lot of back-and-forth and prototyping, pushing the specs 0.1mm this way or that, increasing or decreasing the weight a fraction of a gram at a time, or fiddling with weight distribution to get the right balance. But when I got the first prototype for this titanium model, I was blown away by how well C3 had anticipated my demands, and it literally left me speechless. I was expecting the development period to be long and arduous, but they nailed it on the first go and aside from some minute changes there was very little to argue over. As a result, this Krown had the smoothest development period of any model in the series.
The playfeel when you start your throw, the balanced weight distribution and smooth sensation is really indescribable, and that continues throughout the sleep, speedy combos, and horizontal play. The Krown Ti becomes a part of you, and obeys your every command with pinpoint accuracy.
The durability of titanium ensures it will be a timeless addition to your collection, and deserves a place in your heart alongside its fellow Krown brothers. I know you'll love it.
