C3yoyodesign - Krown.st 7068
The 5th installment in the Krown series, featuring a 7068 aluminum body and a stainless steel rim.
C3's long-standing flagship series gets its latest installment as the Krown.st 7068, the 5th in Shinya Kido's signature series and the 3rd to feature a bimetal design. It's packed with new features and design elements that may look like minor changes, but add up to a huge jump in performance!
Official statement from Shinya Kido
I'm proud to present the 5th stage of the Krown series. It has a titanium axle and a high-end 7068 aluminum body, and uses JP response pads. Altogether it is 1 gram heavier than the previous model, but we've completely reevaluated the weight distribution, and the balance is very different from before. The step straight body gives top performance and sharp, fast playfeel that makes the new Krown a true weapon in the right hands. The sense of speed comes not from lightness, but the deliberate delivery of that weight. This design gives you control, power, and stability all at once. It reminds me of the Beserker SS in this regard, so if you liked that model you're sure to love this Krown as well.
at 44mm wide, even if your playstyle isn't meant for speed, the new Krown is perfect for all kinds of mounts including influent tricks and dynamic horizontal play (you know what I like!). At 54mm, the diameter is slightly smaller than other Krown models, so I think players with smaller hands will be pleased.
Even for those who already own Krowns, I think this new model brings a fresh feeling to the series, and is worth giving a throw. Please give it a try and I hope it brings you as much joy as it does to me!
Please note: C3yoyodesign uses 7068 aluminium alloy to seek their best performance. 7068 is not a great material for anodizing, so Krown.st 7068 has anodizing imperfections. This does not affect how the yo-yo plays. They seek the best performance, not always the best cosmetics.

How does it feel in the hand? It felt like a mid size yoyo. Well, with diameter of 54mm, so that's it. It felt pretty light. Idk abt others, but it's definitely light. Veeery angular, straight v shape. The finish on this is fantastic! Grinds are just so satisfying.
Okay, now onto how it plays? It plays excellent! Really hard to put into words, it's just too good! This is my 1st 100$ yoyo, so idk how does it fare with others. But krown.st 7068 no doubt, a beast!
Despite the aggressive looking v shape of it, it's oddly soft on the catch. Maybe due to the JP pads that it came stock with, but definitely a soft catch, as well as soft yet tight binds.
Rejection, surprisingly great. Easy to reject. When you do reverse brent stole to brent stole, you get the ease of doing so.
Got some weight on the end of string when you throw it, but that heft I associate it with the very stability it has. Yes, it nailed the stability department as well. It glides so well on string while doing your tricks.
It's so hard to put into words, perhaps it'll take me pages to explain the greatness of krown.st 7068.
All in all, a great yoyo. Expensive, yes. But worth every dollar of mine! Are you looking your 1st 100$ yoyo? Or really digging a bimetal like this? Or wanted a performance with mid size yoyo? Or just love C3yoyodesign yoyos, and a fan of Shinya Kido? Well, get this!
