The flagship model of CLYW, the Wild Fire, has been redesigned by SUS Yo-Yo Mechanics for the Japanese market. The rim has been significantly extended, and the shape has been changed to a more H-profile concave form. The stainless steel rim is clearly weighted on the outer circumference, making it a bimetal model that emphasizes hardness.

Because of its hardness, it is characterized by the ease of direction changes with a small turning radius, even though it is full-size and not small in any way, and a high level of both responsiveness and ease of movement has been realized.

The name of this model is derived from the Klondike region of Canada, which once prospered during the gold rush when gold mines were discovered, and this image is reflected in the artwork and the design of the badge that comes with the model.

Once again, for competitive players!

This model is our first collaboration with CLYW. We started with the idea of creating a bimetal model for the Japanese market, but we wanted to create a model that would be competitive enough for the strongest contest players.

We felt that we had to go beyond the excellent competition model CLYW had already released, so we went through a series of trial-and-error to incorporate a power-up that was easy to understand and suitable for a wide range of tricks, as we strive for all SUS designs.

We used our past know-how, of course, but also remade the base Wildfire shape to fit our own standard pad size. While the rim was enlarged, we tried to maintain the weight distribution was in keeping with the base model. The design of the face is also faithful to a certain model, while eliminating unnecessary weight. The modern specs, feel, and balance will help you perform a variety of tricks!
