All yo-yos have passed the manufacturer's quality inspection. Quality standards vary by manufacturer. Basically, products that can be used normally are within product specifications.

Examples of possible initial defects

if the following symptoms occur immediately after opening, they may be initial defects:
(Bind models only) The bearing barely rotates even when flicked with a finger.
Even after dampening vibrations with a finger during play, the yo-yo vibrates so much that its shape appears distorted.
Parts that should be installed (bearings, pads) are not installed.

Turning Point - Kiwi

The Jason Liu signature throw still weighs in at over 76 grams, even after being converted to monometal!

This is the signature model of Zichen Jason Liu, the 2012 and 2016 China 1A Division Champion. This is a special heavyweight bimetal yo-yo that is designed for his style of play, and is designed to keep the yo-yo from "blowing up" even with a great deal of power.

The model has been introduced before. Yes, this yo-yo is a monometal version of his signature model Collapsar, and although the construction is different, the concept is the same: a metal yo-yo for super heavyweight string tricks. The size of the yo-yo is almost the same, although there is a slight difference.

However, the fact that these yo-yos, which are numerically very heavy, are far more maneuverable than one might imagine is a characteristic of the Turning Point lineup in the high weight range. In addition to the Collapsar, the recent lineups Awoken Anubis and MSG are at the top of this list, and the current Kiwi is no exception.

Despite being quite responsive, it also has a smoothness that strangely makes it easy to accelerate, adding to its milder feel and handling than Korapser. Kiwi itself does not just stand still, but is characterized by a straightforwardness that allows it to instantly respond to the player's manipulations and get up to speed. Of course, it is a yo-yo with a very special feel compared to other full-size, medium-weight yo-yos, but the advantage of its super-weight is clear.
