All yo-yos have passed the manufacturer's quality inspection. Quality standards vary by manufacturer. Basically, products that can be used normally are within product specifications.
Examples of possible initial defects
if the following symptoms occur immediately after opening, they may be initial defects:
(Bind models only) The bearing barely rotates even when flicked with a finger.
Even after dampening vibrations with a finger during play, the yo-yo vibrates so much that its shape appears distorted.
Parts that should be installed (bearings, pads) are not installed.

YJ YOYO's first original full metal yo-yo gets a refresh after many years of service.
The first King Sword started development back in 2015. There have been four different versions over the years, but there's been a lot of time since the last update. Using the knowledge gained from developing the high-end Zephyros, YJ has spent a lot of time redeveloping their old flagship. The result looks familiar, but the performance is on a whole other level. Now, their fifth installment of the King Sword is complete.
The King Sword was already developed as a long sleeper, but the V has improved even on that. A little small and weighing in at 67 grams, it feels dense in the hand. It has a step round shape gives it a playfeel that feels packed with power. Stable sleep, power, and a steadfast spin all await you; at the first throw you'll see for yourself what years of development can lead to.
Size means nothing, this little weapon shows that even a small yo-yo can blow us away.

Before the Timeslip,It was a model that focused on long sleep time,
but the timeslip model focused on long-sleep performance.
Kingsword’s development direction has changed for easy control for conpetition.
If it was developed up to the 4th version, no further improvement will be possible.
