The top-end full metal Io is a continuation of the Oxy Ti 9.06/Syzygy legacy.
Syzygy refers to the movement of celestial bodies, so keeping in line with that naming system the Io is named after a moon. Yet the Io is more than just in orbit, it's a sibling to its more expensive relatives, and shows just as much potential to shake the world of yo-yo.
The Io's shape is derived from its siblings, and it has shed the titanium weight ring to bring down the cost, but keep its performance high. The Io has been boiled down to its essence, then blast coated for a unified look and feel. The inverse round shape and concave bearing perform well right out the box, and show Oxygene's attention to detail.
