Another version of the Horizon pushes the limits of material design, with an upgrade to 7068 aluminum.
The "Ultra" series second model continues the tradition of upgrading a classic yo-yo's material to 7068 aluminum alloy, which brings down the overall weight but increases the performance and durability of the yo-yo. Harder, denser, but lighter playfeel is your reward for going "Ultra." A whole 4 grams lighter, to be exact! Not just from the material switch, because the upgrade means that certain parts of the yo-yo can be made even thinner than before without threatening the yo-yo's structural integrity. This means a massive improvement in how the new Horizon plays.
Of course, it sports the concaved side face that makes for such amazing fingerspins!

In 2016 YoYoFactory experimented with a new material. known as 7068 it is stronger than steel and an exciting to craft into yoyos allowing unique performance opportunities and a new feel for players. Our first yoyo in this material, the SPACE CROWN ULTRA turned out amazing. For the Sopphmore 7068 release we turned to one of our most beloved yo-yos the HORIZON.
HORIZON ULTRA takes advantage of the size and shape of Horizon with refinements in weighting and taking opportunities in the strength of the material a lighter more powerful yoyo has been created. The Signature fingerspin bowl has been tweaked to give a center point for those looking for static finger spins and to offer a unique look to the HORIZON ULTRA.
