This new Gungnir was refined to create the signature model for 2015 Women's Division World Champion, Taiwan's Hobbit.

This is a refined version of the Gungnir, made to the ideal specs for 2015 Women's Division World Champion, Hobbit Wang Xiao-Wen from Taiwan. The size and weight are almost identical to the original Gungnir, but her refinements have improved its stability. She opted to incorporate the "double-V bump" edge design seen in the DarkSonic and Dymension, keeping the yo-yo from tilting off-axis without your permission. It also keeps it stable once it is off-center, making the Hobbit Gungnir excellent for horizontal play.

Another refinement is in the body shape; the profile from the edge to the pad is slightly concave, keeping the string away from the response area during play and minimizing sleep loss. This also makes the Hobbit Gungnir play as if it has a concave bearing, even when it's flat.

The smooth play and excellent weight balance are the Hobbit Gungnir's trademarks. The original Gungnir is already an excellent throw, but this model brings a heightened sense of control that makes it an excellent middle sized full metal yo-yo.
