General Yo - Hatrick 2
General Yo-Yo's masterpiece returns after a 13-year absence.
The Hatrick, an undersized full metal yo-yo with a classic round shape and one of General Yo-Yo's most iconic models, is back after 13 years since its original release back in 2010. While there are some differences in size and material composition, the roundness and impressive side-face shape have remained largely unchanged.
The width and diameter have increased by 2mm and 3mm respectively, making it a mid-size instead of an undersized yo-yo. The biggest difference and feature of the new yo-yo is that it is now bimetal. The body material is A7075 (Super Duralumin), which is a very strong and high end aluminum alloy. The feel of the old-fashioned round shape with high edges has been retained, and on top of that, the yo-yo simply has a longer sleep, making it a very responsive yo-yo in spite of its small size.
Compared to the low-edge model, the yo-yo is more prone to tilting planes, but that is exactly what the round shape's smooth feel is all about. This is a yo-yo more for the casual player who likes to carry it in their pocket rather than for competition.
