Jonathan Sittangang's signature version of Duncan's high-end bimetal GTR.
This is Jonathan Sittangang's signature version GTR, a member of Team Duncan and winner of the 2017 Indonesia Tournament. Originally Duncan's high-end bimetal model, it has been redesigned to his specifications.
There are no changes in size or shape, but the side faces are noteworthy. The periphery is thinner as the axis rises up from the center, pulling the weight from the inside along and out towards the wings. This gives the yo-yo longer sleeps, even though the main body weight is almost 2 grams lighter. The GTR-JS is very reliable, especially in the final stages of long combos, where it maintains a clean, stable spin.
The rest of the basic configuration is the same as that of the GTR, so this is one yo-yo that shines as a main model, as a spare, or as a favorite for different kinds of tricks. This yo-yo has the potential to join the esteemed pantheon of modern bimetal.
Although it is lightweight it is powerful, long spinning, very smooth and stable, floaty, very easy to control/maneuver, and can handle multilayer tech string tricks for a long time plus it is very comfortable to the hands. This must be the best yoyo in the market for now in my opinion it's just too good!!
