Yomega - Glide (Old ver.)

The Glide is the pinnacle of Yomega design, with a focus on execution and performance.

Yomega has a long pedigree of champion model yo-yos from all the way back in 2000, with their splendid looping yo-yos. Starting in 2010, Yomega started to turn their eye to string trick, and have produced some spectacular throws for string tricks, like the Maverick, Dash and OochYo. Now with the Glide, Yomega shows its true string trick chops, which seems to have been their latent power all along.

Yomega performed a lot of marketing research to find what players wanted, and discovered that a high bumped response area and a step-straight body provides umparalleled performance and minimal sleep loss, especiall since they blast-coated the area where the string or fingers might contact the body during play. The resulting 69g yo-yo feels smooth and round and incredibly good in the hand.


For cross-compatibility and ease of maintenance, the bearing used is a size C, and the response pads are YYF's CBC pads (large slim size). The bearing included is a genuine licensed Dif-e-Yo KonKave bearing, giving the Glide top spin right out of the box. The more you throw it, the more you'll love it!

The Glide has truly earned its place in the "Elite Yo-Yo" line.
