All yo-yos have passed the manufacturer's quality inspection. Quality standards vary by manufacturer. Basically, products that can be used normally are within product specifications.
Examples of possible initial defects
if the following symptoms occur immediately after opening, they may be initial defects:
(Bind models only) The bearing barely rotates even when flicked with a finger.
Even after dampening vibrations with a finger during play, the yo-yo vibrates so much that its shape appears distorted.
Parts that should be installed (bearings, pads) are not installed.
Examples that do not constitute initial defects
Package damage
Color differences from expectations
Bearing noise or bind model return issues that occur after even a few plays
Yo-yos that arrived properly assembled but cannot be reassembled after disassembly
Scratches on the inside of the bearing area, paint chips
Color variations on the yo-yo that are not noticeable from a distance
Paint chips that are not noticeable from a distance
Scratches on the yo-yo that are not noticeable from a distance and barely detectable by touch
Minor rust on bearing surfaces of models that come pre-strung in the package (minor external rust has almost no impact on performance)
Elevation is a full metal yo-yo with a great sense of weight to it, reaching higher and higher!
Elevation is the signature model of Patrick Canny, who has been elevating his name through winning numerous 1A and 5A contests in Kansas, the West Coast, and regional contests in the USA, not to mention making it into the World Yo-Yo Contest finals.
The body is 7075 aircraft aluminum. It has a wide body that has a strong presence in the hand, and has a great sense of weight that just feels more comfortable as you play. The weight doesn't tire you out as you practice, and has a great sense of stability during play. On top of keeping you fresh throughout your practice, the Elevation maintains a consistent and pleasant playfeel throughout your sesssion.
The naming comes from Patrick's respect for Denver, the city he lives in, which is also known as the "Mile High City," as it's located at a very high "Elevation." Surrounded by the mountains and forests that he loves, Patrick intends to donate a portion of sales to wildlife conservation efforts.

Official Description
Introducing Elevation by UNPRLD and Patrick Canny
Elevation is a full-sized mono metal yoyo designed to help players hit their best tricks when it matters most. It's heavily inspired by mid-school competitive designs, but with modern aesthetics, materials, and play characteristics. We also wanted to strike a balance between a strong competitive model and one that is enjoyable to use casually, and we are beyond impressed with the final product.
We named the yoyo 'Elevation' to pay tribute to Patrick's residency in the Mile High City and his love for exploring the high alpine wilderness of the Western United States. In regards to helping preserve the beauty of the West, Patrick will be donating a portion of each Elevation sale to conservation organizations such as the Sierra Club.
We are so excited to introduce Elevation to our lineup, and we sincerely hope you love it as much as we do.
