YoYoLaboratory - Elan Steampunk (prototype)
The Elan Steampunk is a bold new full-sized bimetal yo-yo with a sexy brass rim weight.
*This is an OEM version of the Sturm Panzer SY-003 Schneider, and the specs vary slightly from the Schneider version.
Almost half the profile is coated in beautiful brass. Compared to the Schneider, the Elan Steampunk is a little on the light side, designed with just a little bit of speed in mind. The axle has also been modified to reduce the changes of it piercing the side wall. The resulting yo-yo feel surprisingly different from the Schneider.
Furthermore, the response pads have been changed to the YYF CBC Slim Size, for even more compatibility than before.
As an added bonus, this yo-yo comes with a yo-yo shaped counterweight named "Pino." It has adhesize rim weights that you can use to modify the weight, and it even comes with a mini bearing, making it a fully functional, tiny yo-yo! What a killer bonus!
*Since the rim has a RAW finish, you'll want to polish it at regular intervals. If you polish the anodized portion of the yo-yo, it will wear the anodization off, so please be careful!
