This version of the Skyva switches the body material to machined delrin, with a metal fingerspin scoop.
With a litany of spin-off variations, the Skyva has quickly become Magic YoYo's poster child with plenty of flavors to choose from. Now a new contender has arrived, in the form of a Delrin (POM) plastic body, machined just like a metal yo-yo. The result is a body that has a distinctively softer texture to it. The colorful metal nut includes the fingerspin scoop on the sides that draws your finger and the eye to feast on the simple but beautiful design. This is the first Skyva variation to use metal for this part. When mounting on the finger, we were impressed with how smooth the transition was from the plastic body to the fingerspin spot over the axle, and the Skyva quickly centered itself steadily over our fingers.
Since POM plastic can't be engraved with a laser, the artwork design is just a tiny accent around the metal hub, making for a very downkey, sophisticated look we can't get enough of!

My Delrin Skyva arrived in the uk yesterday and I’ve not put it down since. The build quality is exquisite, as is the balance and the way it plays. I’m a big fan of the polycarbonate model but this Delrin version really moves it up into a different league. Fingerspins are even easier with the subtle metal caps and the yoyo instinctively tracks straight to the centre when you catch it. It flatters the player to that extent and it’s a joy to use... I’m now waiting on my metal version to arrive to complete my collection
