Crucial - Cream

The Cream is a high-end machined plastic yo-yo from 2006 US National 3A Champion Paul Yath.

After winning the 3A national championship, Paul Yath set his sights on a new goal: making the best yo-yos he could. He started his company, Crucial, to make yo-yos with his own original flair. His first release, the Cream, changed the way we thought about plastic yo-yos. The biggest difference there is that the Cream was made by machining delrin polycarbonate, instead of injecting the plastic into a mold like other plastic yo-yos. Eliminating bubbles and burrs and other imperfections, the Cream overturned all our stereotypes about plastic yo-yos, performing on par with high-end metal models. The Cream uses a spacer similar to the old Buzz-On SPR spacer, keeping the bearing away from the body and warding off any sort of damage that may arise from the bearing coming into direct contact with the plastic.

The smooth machined body feels great on your finger and during play, letting the string slip around without losing spin. This unique texture has given rise to a new generation of plastic fans.
