YYF follows up the Protostar with Counter Attack, the second release of their Death to Metal series.

In the world of performance yo-yos, Death to Metal strikes back against the dominance of full metal yo-yos, Counter Attack is the second volley. It has a wide round body with an inner aluminum ring for stability and spinning power. As opposed to the Protostar's low edge, Counter Attack features a relatively high edge, combating sleep loss with the Center Trac bearing that comes as standard equipment. It's a yo-yo that shows the potential of this price point, and what can be done without a full metal body. When the pads that come with the Counter Attack wear out, we recommend exchanging them for some silicone response pads for even smoother play.
