The Cartesia is the signature model of YoYoFactory team member Noda Kento, developed in collaboration with YoYoFactory and SUS YOYOMECHANICS. Inheriting the light, smooth feel and powerful spin of his previous monometal signature, the Abyss, the Cartesia evolves the design further toward competition use, with SUS YOYOMECHANICS once again leading the design, as they did with the Abyss.

This model adopts a tri-material construction, combining an aluminum alloy body, stainless steel rims, and POM. The stainless steel rims generate momentum and power, while the POM material contributes a smooth feel and effective string catch width. The diameter is compact, yet its spin is well maintained, and the smaller body brings the maneuverability advantage that only a tighter profile can offer. The body width is kept generously wide, and the integrated optimization of size, structure, and shape is felt throughout play. Whether navigating intricate combo tricks or executing broad, dynamic movements, the Cartesia handles exactly as intended.

"Evolution Through Size Reduction"

The Cartesia inherits the light, responsive feel that defines Noda Kento's playing style, first established with the Abyss, and rebuilds it around a revised configuration. To balance the quick transitions and precise control required for tech combos with the ability to handle the dynamic tricks that have become more common in recent years, the size is slightly tightened while maintaining sufficient effective width. To avoid increasing weight while preserving power, the structure has been made tri-material. The feel is light and nimble, while still making it easy to track the yo-yo's position and trajectory; this throw is comfortable for making both intricate and large movements. A model worth noting for anyone looking to cover a broad range of 1A trick styles.
