ll yo-yos have passed the manufacturer's inspection. Different manufacturers have different standards for product quality. Basically, products that can be used normally are within the product specifications.
Examples of possible initial defects : If you notice any of the following symptoms immediately after opening the product, it may be due to an initial defect.
(Bind model only) The bearing barely turns even when flicked with a finger.
Even after calming the vibrations with a rotating middle finger, the yo-yo still vibrates so much that it appears to change shape.
Parts that should have been installed (bearings/pads) are not installed
Examples of items that are not considered initial defects
Damage to the package
Color image difference
Bearing noises after playing a few times
A yo-yo that was delivered in a properly assembled state, but after being disassembled, could no longer be assembled
Scratches and paint chips inside the bearing area
The color unevenness of the yo-yo is not noticeable from a distance.
Paint chipping that is not visible from a distance
Scratches on the yo-yo that are not visible from a distance and are barely noticeable when touched with your fingers
It's been a while since onedrop released the Rally, its last plastic-bodied yo-yo, but it was worth the wait. Cabal is their first model machined from delrin plastic.
Delrin evokes a sense of smoothness and softness, which matches nicely with the Cabal's rounded body, clearly based on the Markmont Classic. The exaggerated bump area gives the Cabal a decidedly different feeling of power, giving you decent spin with just a drop. Yet, the smoothness of the body and its ease of control belies its immense spinning power, until you go to bind it and that power and speed eats the string tightly like a full metal throw.
The power of metal but the softness of delrin, you don't have to choose between them with the Cabal!
Official Description
With the Rally, our first plastic yo-yo, we started with injection molded polycarbonate halves (outsourced to a factory in the U.S.) and then finished them off in the machines at our shop. The end result was great, but we are always looking for ways to improve. Our expertise is in machining, so when talks of a second plastic yo-yo began, we knew there was only one way to do it. Machining the entirety of the yo-yo out of bars of Delrin in house.
First discovered in the 1920s by Herman Staudinger, who received the 1953 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, Polyoxymethylene(POM), also known as Delrin, didn't become commercially available until the 1960s. Used extensively in the automotive and consumer electronics industry, it is now the foundation of our second plastic yo-yo, the Cabal.
The Cabal boasts a rounded and classic profile, similar to yo-yos from days past, but with all the modern play we've grown accustomed to. Inside, you'll find familiarity within the axle system - it's the same one we pioneered in the Rally but with an all new flat hub for that clean and sleek look. Since Delrin is less dense than aluminum, the entire body of the yo-yo was designed to be a little thicker than usual giving everyone who throws it just a little more to love. When you hold it you can feel that diamond cut finish. The Cabal will satisfy your nostalgia for plastic but won't hold you back with it's refreshing modern refinement and play.
