A double-rimmed "fat and round" full metal yo-yo for everyday use.
The signature model of Steve Brown, marketing director of CLYW and creator of the counterweight style, this yo-yo features one of CLYW's iconic "double rim" shapes and is made of ultra-super duralumin (7075 Aluminum alloy) for superior strength.
The rounded shape is soft and pleasant to the touch. It features a light swing and exquisitely gentle playfeel, which makes the Beater a strong contestant for your everyday carry, rather than a model for throwing around with all your might, trying to hit feverish performance combos. This is a yo-yo that should be kept nearby, so you take it for granted that it is by your side, like a watch or an accessory.
Being Steve's signature model, it also comes with a CLYW log counterweight. The key point is that you can play 5A immediately... but in fact, the biggest advantage is that you can play yo-yo instantly without putting it on your fingers any longer. Once you know how easy it is, you may not be able to stop.

Beater
Instant Classic that is CLYW smooth. Part Canvas, Chief, Creep and Artic Circle wrapped up in pure Caribou. Ohhh so good.
I had my doubts at first ordering from rewind. But I couldn't resis the exclusive colorway of the beater. It took awhile for shipping but it was worth the wait. Right outta the box dead smooth and oh my, the color of it when spinning was magical. I wish they had a colorway when its spinning as a normal color. It was like a hidden suprise. I'm not too good at 5a but im hoping to get better. Thank you guys at ReWind for everything you do.
