All yo-yos have passed the manufacturer's quality inspection. Quality standards vary by manufacturer. Basically, products that can be used normally are within product specifications.
Examples of possible initial defects
if the following symptoms occur immediately after opening, they may be initial defects:
(Bind models only) The bearing barely rotates even when flicked with a finger.
Even after dampening vibrations with a finger during play, the yo-yo vibrates so much that its shape appears distorted.
Parts that should be installed (bearings, pads) are not installed.
Examples that do not constitute initial defects
Package damage
Color differences from expectations
Bearing noise or bind model return issues that occur after even a few plays
Yo-yos that arrived properly assembled but cannot be reassembled after disassembly
Scratches on the inside of the bearing area, paint chips
Color variations on the yo-yo that are not noticeable from a distance
Paint chips that are not noticeable from a distance
Scratches on the yo-yo that are not noticeable from a distance and barely detectable by touch
Minor rust on bearing surfaces of models that come pre-strung in the package (minor external rust has almost no impact on performance)
A yo-yo for beginners that can be upgraded with size C bearings, designed for ease of use.
This is the easiest entry model for beginners in the history of C3 yoyo design. Arise is set as a tug-response yoyo with a nylon spool to keep costs down, and is a good yoyo for learning basic tricks such as sleepers, walk-the-dog, and trapeze.
It gets progressively more difficult when it comes to string-riding tricks such as trapeze and brain twister where you have to mount the yo-yo on the string, but when you're ready to take your play to the next level, Arise can be quickly made into a bind-response yo-yo by simply replacing the plastic spool with a size C bearing, sold separately. There are no spacers and no need to replace the axle, making this a revolutionary product with little hassle!
Because of its lightweight body material and design, the basic performance of the model as a string trick model, such as slide and rotational force, is not quite as good as the standard bind yo-yos, but it is still more than effective as a model for experiencing bindings.
This model is especially recommended for those who want to play with a nostalgic yo-yo for a while before they decide to turn up the heat.
From The Maker
Our first model to allow for the conversion from a Plastic Spool to a Size C bearing system! A plastic yoyo that is perfect for beginners and offers a fun experience - ARISE!
The original configuration of ARISE is tug-responsive (plastic spool) mode. Simply twist the yoyo open, without the need for complicated axle replacements, and easily switch to the bind-responsive (ball bearing) mode by replacing it with the larger Size C ball bearing. This greatly enhances playability! Both beginners and experienced players can enjoy the fun of the yoyo!
After years of research and design, ARISE is undoubtedly the best choice for entry level yo-yoing!
