YoyoFriends presents a new model for beginners to intermediate players to be their first bind yo-yo.
Equipped with a finger spin spot, AoE is a great value for its price. The AoE is a beginner to intermediate yo-yo model from Yo-Yo Friends, recommended for first time binders. It is also the company's first injection molded plastic yo-yo.
Right out of the box, it's a bind response yo-yo, meaning it does not automatically return when you tug on the string. At 58mm in diameter, the body is slightly larger than a typical full-size yo-yo to ensure the plastic body gets plenty of spin to let you practice your tricks. The low edge and wide body not only makes it easier to throw the yo-yo straight, but also has the compensating effect of a longer sleep even if it tilts slightly.
When you swap out the bind-response bearing with the included thin bearing, the yo-yo becomes a beginner yo-yo that is tug responsive, allowing you to challenge yourself to basic throwing and enjoy tricks from a different perspective. It is a yo-yo that allows you to experience everything from traditional play to modern, advanced tricks.
AoE stands for "Area of Effect. It was named in the hope that it will contribute to the yo-yo community and have a broad positive impact as a yo-yo that can be accepted by everyone from beginners to pro-class players.
