Description
sOMEThING - Anglam Apogee
A titanium body and a stainless steel rim make for the ultimate pairing!
sOMEThING has built its success on a mountain of flagships called Anglam, and it's only fitting that sitting at the summit of that mountain is the Apogee.
The shape and size are almost unchanged from the original Anglam, but with a titanium body and stainless steel rim. Aside from the obvious bump in durability, the Apogee boasts improved performance across the board, while delivering a boosted smooth playfeel that Anglam is known for, with a sensitive touch of light control.
Anglam fans are certainly drooling over this one, but it's really an amazing union of titanium and steel; truly the name is appropriate in this case.
Comment from the Maker
The other day, I used one of these for the AP (Asia Pacific Yo-Yo Contest) finals, to perform a 3 minute freestyle with only two throws (one quick mistake turned it into three). That enough should demonstrate the ultra long sleep the Apogee is capable of. But it's not just a sleep that survives your trick, it actually feeds off your tricks to ensure an enduring sleep that goes deeper than other yo-yos.
We used the Anglam Zero as our base, and made the most of our materials, shaving the titanium down and designing the stainless weight to give a weight distribution that would otherwise be impossible. Tested and perfected with the help of Yamato Murata, the Apogee is the epitome of the Anglam line.
